Just wanted to share a few cat sketches. The lion sketch I gave to my number one fan Aiden, yep! he's my adorable nephew that I had the pleasure to draw with when I visted my family a few weeks ago. He is 5 years old and super into animals, mainly big cats and wolves. Well, I promised I would draw some cheetahs for him, so I have and will be sending off these sketches along with a few other goodies that will hopefully inspire him to draw often. :D Shhh!! Trisha don't show him this post, I want him to be surprised! :)

And here is a drawing Aiden and I had fun with,:) The top lion was me showing him simple shapes and his is the bottom copying and learning. I would say his lion is so expressive, I love it!
Wow! Aido's is great. Of course your's is too Tiff, as always. So cool that you were teaching him to draw something he loves. You're a good Auntie. We miss you.

ReplyDeleteHaven't heard from you for a while, hope all is well. John and I went back to Toronto, and visited Beijing, Xi'an, Hong Kong, and New York!
It was awesome and New York was fantastic as always! I went there to attend two one-week long pose workshops at Grand Central Academy with Will St. John and Jon DeMartin.
Anyways, enough about me. What have you been up to? Had a good summer? Your animal drawings are so beautiful, I want to see some more!
